Today at our childminders group we made bread for the harvest festival. They each got to play with it for a while like play dough before we put it in the oven to bake it. They all had a great time and couldn’t wait to show their mums and dads.

This morning we did some marble painting with the children. They all loved it and had such a surprised look on their faces when we took off the lids to the container and saw their individual masterpieces.

Today at our weekly childminders group a local lollipop lady came in to talk to the children about what her job entailed and why she was needed. All the children enjoyed having her and liked looking at her lollipop stick.

Today we went to the aquarium they enjoyed looking at the fish and was very happy to sit in front of the shark tank for ages watching.

Today was the first day of school for one of the boys so all of my children made a lovely chocolate cake. They did all of the mixing and stirring and by the end the kitchen was white with flour. It gave the whole proceedings a very christmasy feel because it looked like snow. We [...]

Today we went to the zoo the children had a great day and got to see allot. They went on the wobbly bridge and played in the soft play area. They saw crocodiles, gorillas, orangutans, giraffes and tapirs as well as  others things. They were very tired and had a good sleep on our way [...]

Today I took the children to the museum. They had a great time and enjoyed looking feeling and exploring different textures e.g  coral, furs, shells etc.  They were able to view traditional dress from certain countries and looked at some of our local history. Even the 20 month old enjoyed it.
