We made a wormery today. It was made from a plastic container and we added alternate layers of sand, earth and leaves. We then caught a few worms to add to the wormery and covered it with cloth so that they were in the dark.

Today I got out the treasure basket for the babies. It was made up of shiny metal objects of different shapes and sizes. They explored the objects, banged them together and had a jolly good time.

Today we painted old yogurt pots. When they where dry the children stuck on googly eyes and pipe cleaners for arms and legs to turn the pots into monsters. We are going to use the pots to grow cress which will look like the monsters hair.
