Today we did a bit of cooking. We made some cakes and everyone helped. We tried colouring different parts of the cake mixture to make multi-coloured cakes. At lunch time the cakes proved particullarly popular.

Today we went to the house of marbles. We looked at the marble runs, including the massive one that covers one of the walls We also got to play skittles and look at the largest marble in Britain weighing in at 2.3 tons which was floating on water and could be made to roll on [...]

Today we went to the Zoo. The children spent some time in the soft play area before lunch and then went to look at the animals after. We saw the crocodiles and the reptiles in the reptile house. We also looked in on the kangaroos, anoa and rhinos.
