Today we had a party for one of the children who was leaving me due to a change in circumstances. The children had party food and made a goodbye card.

Today the children got to learn about Diwali, the festival of lights and India. They enjoyed looking at the box of indian cultural objects and loved the dress up.

This morning we got out the soft play for the children at the childminders group. They all loved it and had a great time building with it.

The children did some sticking today. They used different types of material from plastic to cotton. They felt all of the pieces of material before sticking them to a piece of coloured paper.

Today at the childminders group we set up an easel for the children to paint on. They all had a turn regardless of their age. They all loved it.

The boys had loads of fun with the safari set today. They helped to set it up and enjoyed putting the little people into the vehicles.

The children did a bit of marble painting today at the childminder group. They enjoyed it and it got very messy.

Today the children played with a mixture made from dry red lentils, oats & rice. They got to feel the different textures and look at how the different grains reacted to being sieved and dropped.
