Today we went to the house of marbles. We looked at the marble runs, including the massive one that covers one of the walls We also got to play skittles and look at the largest marble in Britain weighing in at 2.3 tons which was floating on water and could be made to roll on the spot.

We looked at the glass blowing and played marbles outside.

 

The Devon Childminding association had a fun day at central park. The children got to join in with some fun activities and we had a picnic in the park.

Today we set the castle up outside because the weather was good. The boys used their imagination to play knights, dragons and wizards.

Home to home, a group I belong to had there sports day today for the children leaving childcare to start school. All the children took part and we had another good day. The weather was better today so we were able to do it outside, which was nice.

We had good weather today so we got the sand pit out and had a lot of fun in the sand.

Today the children had fun playing with water. The weather was quite nice and everyone had a great time.

The children took part in the Big Toddle today to raise money for Barnardos. They each got a medal for completing the walk and did it wearing animal masks in line with this years animal theme.

We went for a summer bug hunt today with the toddler group. Everone looked for bugs in the grass but I have to say, even though his head will get big, Gary was the best at catching the bugs. He even found a baby frog in the grass (not a bug I know!). We got to look close up at ladybirds, grasshoppers, pond skaters, bees, small moths and a frog.
