This morning we got out the soft play for the children at the childminders group. They all loved it and had a great time building with it.

It was a nice day today so we went to the zoo to look at the goats. We had a picnic whilst we were there and also kicked a football around in the open space. Then we looked at the vervet monkeys, tigers, cheetah, wolves, otters and the lynx. We also got to see a bird of prey demonstration.

 

Hooray, good weather again today so out comes the sand pit again. The children love playing with the sand.

Home to home, a group I belong to had there sports day today for the children leaving childcare to start school. All the children took part and we had another good day. The weather was better today so we were able to do it outside, which was nice.

Today the toddler group organised a sports day. It was supposed to be outside but as usual the great British summer let us down. We still held the races in the hall and all the children enjoyed it. There was running races, sack races, three legged races, egg and spoon races, bean bag balancing races and races on trikes and other vehicles.

The children all received a certificate and medal for taking part and were exhausted by all the excercise.

Today I took the children to jump they got to run about playing in the ball pool on the soft play in and out 3 different play houses , dress up  and a lot more.  By the time we left they were very tired and all fell asleep in the car on our way home.
